As a family of veteran soup makers, we’ve developed the homemade recipes that we grew up on (made by our own mum!), in order to deliver a real taste of home from our family kitchen, to your table.
That’s right, we – The Sword Family – certainly know a thing or two when it comes to great-tasting soup! As with many Scottish families, our childhood mealtimes were often spent enjoying wholesome portions of thick, nutritious soup. This big pot of Sunday soup made by our mum (it was always on Sundays!), lasted well into the next week. So it’s not hard to see where our passion for stirring up delicious food started!
As we were brought up eating these hearty, delicious recipes, we’ve now made it our mission to ensure that our family tradition lives on and can be enjoyed by many, many more people than just The Swords. We strive to bring wholesome, quality and convenience to family meals, working lunches, quick snacks and beyond.

We’ve held onto our traditional values while adding modern touches to our recipes along the way, creating a delicious blend of the old and new.
